Author Guidelines

Authors who wish to submit their manuscripts to KONSEL: International Bulletin on Interdisciplinary Studies must adhere to the following guidelines:

1. General Submission Guidelines

  • Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.

  • Articles may be written in English or Indonesian.

  • All submissions will undergo a double-blind peer-review process.

  • Authors must register and submit manuscripts via the journal's online submission system (if applicable).

  • There are no submission or publication fees.

2. Types of Accepted Manuscripts

  • Research Articles

  • Theoretical Papers

  • Case Studies

  • Literature Reviews

  • Conceptual Papers

3. Manuscript Structure

Manuscripts should include the following components:

  • Title: Clear, concise, and informative (maximum 15 words).

  • Author Information: Full name(s), affiliation(s), email address. Include ORCID if available.

  • Abstract: 150–250 words, summarizing the background, objectives, methods, findings, and conclusion.

  • Keywords: 3–5 relevant keywords.

  • Introduction

  • Literature Review (if applicable)

  • Methodology

  • Results and Discussion

  • Conclusion

  • References

4. Formatting Requirements

  • Length: 4,000 to 8,000 words, including references.

  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt, 1.5 line spacing.

  • Margins: 2.5 cm on all sides.

  • Citation Style: Use APA Style (7th edition).

  • Tables and Figures: Must be numbered and titled clearly; sources must be cited if reused.

5. Plagiarism Policy

All submissions will be checked for plagiarism. Manuscripts found to contain more than 20% similarity (excluding references and quotations) will be rejected.

6. Ethical Considerations

Authors must:

  • Ensure informed consent for any research involving human subjects.

  • Declare any conflicts of interest.

  • Disclose all sources of funding or sponsorship.

7. Copyright and Licensing

Upon acceptance, authors retain copyright and grant the journal the right of first publication. All articles are published under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).
