Gagasan Integrasi Eko-Teologi dalam Kurikulum Pendidikan Agama: Strategi Pembentukan Karakter Peduli Lingkungan

Krisis ekologi global yang ditandai dengan perubahan iklim, kepunahan biodiversitas, dan degradasi lahan menuntut reposisi peran pendidikan agama. Selama ini, pendidikan agama cenderung berfokus pada dimensi eskatologis dan hubungan vertikal antara manusia dengan Tuhan, sementara hubungan horizontal dengan alam sering kali terabaikan. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi integrasi nilai-nilai eko-teologi dalam kurikulum pendidikan keagamaan sebagai upaya mitigasi kerusakan lingkungan. Melalui metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi pustaka dan analisis isi, penelitian ini menemukan bahwa literasi lingkungan yang berakar pada nilai religiusitas memiliki daya ikat moral yang lebih kuat dibandingkan pendekatan sekuler. Hasil pembahasan menunjukkan bahwa reinterpretasi teks suci yang berwawasan lingkungan dan implementasi model pembelajaran berbasis proyek ekologis (Green Pedagogy) merupakan strategi efektif dalam membentuk karakter eco-citizenship. Rekomendasi penelitian ini mendorong perlunya reformasi kurikulum yang mengarusutamakan etika lingkungan dalam setiap jenjang pendidikan keagamaan agar agama mampu menjawab tantangan krisis bumi secara konkret.
