Rawa Aopa Law Review (RALR) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of its published content. To safeguard the scholarly record, the journal employs a digital archiving policy that includes the following:

1. Institutional Repository

RALR encourages authors to deposit the final published version of their articles in institutional repositories, personal websites, or other scholarly archives, provided that appropriate credit is given and a link to the original publication on RALR’s website is included.

2. LOCKSS / CLOCKSS (If applicable)

RALR supports the use of LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) and CLOCKSS systems to ensure secure and decentralized long-term preservation of its content. These systems allow participating libraries to preserve access to journal content in the event the journal is no longer available.

3. OJS PKP Preservation

As a journal using the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, RALR benefits from the PKP Preservation Network (PN), which provides free preservation services using the LOCKSS technology to ensure content remains accessible in perpetuity.

4. Self-Archiving

Authors are permitted and encouraged to:

  • Archive the submitted version (pre-print)

  • Archive the accepted version (post-print)

  • Archive the final published version (Version of Record)

in open-access repositories, provided the publication includes proper citation and a link to the journal’s official version.
