Author Guidelines
Rawa Aopa Law Review (RALR) welcomes original and high-quality manuscripts in the field of law. Before submitting, authors must read and follow the guidelines below to ensure consistency, quality, and integrity in the publication process.
1. General Requirements

Language: Manuscripts must be written in English or Bahasa Indonesia. Authors are responsible for ensuring clarity and correct grammar.

Originality: The submission must be original, unpublished, and not under review elsewhere.

Plagiarism: All manuscripts will be screened using plagiarism detection software. Submissions with plagiarism exceeding 20% will be rejected.

License: All published works are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0).
2. Manuscript Structure
Each manuscript should include the following components:

Title (concise and informative)

Author(s): Full name(s), affiliation(s), and email address(es)

Abstract (150–250 words): Brief overview of the paper, including objectives, methods, findings, and conclusion

Keywords (3–5): Reflecting the main topics discussed

Introduction: Background, research problems, and objectives

Methodology (for empirical or socio-legal papers)

Discussion and Analysis

Conclusion
-
References (APA 7th edition style)
3. Formatting Requirements

Length: 4,000–8,000 words (including references)

Font: Times New Roman, size 12

Spacing: 1.5 line spacing

Margins: 2.5 cm (all sides)

Citation Style: Use footnotes (Chicago Manual of Style or Oxford Standard for the Citation of Legal Authorities [OSCOLA] for legal references)

References: Include a full bibliography at the end of the manuscript, formatted according to APA 7th edition or your selected citation style (be consistent)
4. Submission Process

Manuscripts must be submitted through the journal’s online submission system (or email, if applicable).

Authors must include:

The manuscript in .doc/.docx format

A short biographical note (max. 100 words)

A declaration of originality and conflict of interest (if required)

5. Peer Review Process
All submitted manuscripts will undergo a double-blind peer review process. Reviewers will evaluate the manuscript's originality, relevance, clarity, and contribution to legal scholarship.
6. Publication Fee
Currently, RALR does not charge any article processing or publication fees (APC). This policy may be updated in the future.
7. Ethical Considerations
Authors must follow publication ethics as outlined in RALR's Publication Ethics Statement, including issues related to authorship, conflicts of interest, and research integrity.
